What you are unlikely to hear is people speaking in hushed tones about their incredible aversion to celery or wearing fuzzy slippers, but that doesn’t mean that those types of phobias do not…

Fears and Phobias of Big Name Celebrities

Perhaps it’s because we see movie stars on the big screen that we imagine them to be that much larger than life. We seldom if ever get to see them out in the real world, so we don’t really have any idea of what their lives are like on a day to day basis. It’s all of those things that leads us to believe that celebrities are somehow not like us in any way at all, but the truth is that they are just ordinary people that happen to have extraordinary jobs. They have many of the same problems as we do, and many of them actually have the exact same fears. Even those big name action stars that kill bad guys on the silver screen actually have a fear of getting on planes, or of the big spider that comes crawling into their home.

Can You Believe This Weird Celebrity Fear

I have always thought that celebrities were a rather odd collection of people. I understand that the celebrity lifestyle means more money than you could probably ever spend, but you have to wonder about the cost that comes with attaining that lifestyle. On the one hand you have all the money you could ever wish for, but on the other you can’t really just walk down the street and spend some of it in your favorite shop. I have just assumed that anyone who craves that lifestyle may be more than just a little bit off.

Completing a Bucket List for the Entertainment of Others

We all have a list of things that we would love to see or do before we die, even if we haven’t committed an official bucket list to paper. The reason that many people hold off on creating a bucket list is because they know they will likely never have the financial means to do so. For example, I’d love to take a year off and travel to a whole bunch of destinations across the world, but common sense tells me that it’s a pipe dream that will never ever happen unless I strike it rich in the lottery. This line of thinking probably helps explain why travel and adventure shows do so well on television. We all get to live a little vicariously through the presenter or participants in those shows, especially when they are done really well and can almost capture the sights, sounds, and smells of the places they visit.

Should You Share Your Bucket List or Keep It Private?

Different people choose to live their lives in a number of different ways, but there comes a time when we all start to realize our mortality. It’s usually at that point where we take stock of our lives and look back at the things we have accomplished, as well as those that have slipped through the cracks and remain undone. It’s at this point that many people start to think about fulfilling some of those missed opportunities by creating a bucket list. While there are those that think of putting together a list of activities to be completed before you die, it’s actually a good way of getting up off your behind and actually living a little.

How to Compose Your Own Bucket List

We all have things that we would love to see or do before we die, yet we seldom ever make any sort of plan to actually accomplish any of those dreams. This is why you should really think about creating a bucket list, so that you have a clear, detailed list of those items that you can check off as you finish them. Imagine going grocery shopping without a list of the items that you need. You can pretty much guarantee that you will have forgotten at least one item when you start putting away all of your groceries. The same rules apply when it comes to your bucket list. As morbid as it may sound, you don’t want to be lying on your death bed and suddenly remember that one thing that you could have easily achieved, but failed to do because you didn’t plan it out.

The Pros and Cons of Making a Bucket List

If you are smart, everything that you do in life will be well thought out in order to ensure that you are making the right choices. If you take the time to think back about the mistakes you have made, you likely won’t be surprised to find that the vast majority of them came when you rushed into something rather than taking some time to weigh the pros and cons. That’s a rule that doesn’t just apply to the important decisions that you make, but also to those that others would deem to be somewhat trivial. The perfect example of that is when it comes to creating a bucket list, which is basically a checklist of things that you would like to accomplish before you die. It may sound like something that is fun to do, but there are some pros and cons associated with making a bucket list.
